Hi Enrico - sorry if it came across the wrong way but I am not trying to cast judgement on others, but, rather, to share what Jesus Himself said. I know what Paul said also and it does sound sometimes sonewhat conflicting so I am praying for clarity for all of us to understand better. I am trying to bear in mind that only God knows everything and I try to heed the warning in 2nd Peter 3.16 - And also in his eg Paul's epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned (untaught) and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures unto their own destruction.
I know that the law does not save us or make as righteous, as soon Christ became the Sacraficial Lamb the animal sacrafices are no longer necessary. I know Paul said in Galatians 2.21 - I do not frustrate the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
I just know that Jesus said - in Matthew 5.17 - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; i AM NOT COME TO DESTROY, but to fulfil. 5.18 - For I say to you - Til heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, until all of it be fulfilled.
Jesus also said in Matthew 23.2 - The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Mose's seat. 3 - All therefore they bid you observe, that observe and do, but do not ye after their works for they say, and do not.
I also know that Jesus said that when He returns many will say to Him - Lord, Lord. and He will say to them - depart from me you lawless ones I never knew you. God bless.
Hi, I think its good that you wrestle with this. We all do or at least we ought to I believe. I was not in the Scriptures much before the Lord had to intervene allowing very painful circumstances in my life that drove me to my knees ...we wrestle with these things.... We ought to look into these things and ask the Lord to show us where we maybe in error whilst studying the Scriptures to show ourselves approved. In the book of Acts there are some important clues....the Jerusalem council letter (it outlines a few things that apply to the Gentiles but Sabbath keeping was not among those things), Peter's words concerning their (the Jews) inability to keep the law and not to burden the Gentiles with what they themselves could not keep but then of course Jesus said no one should teach that any of it has been taken away but it also clearly states He is the fulfillment of the law. Certainly the 10 commandments are valid today...and so I don't want to be flippant about any of it but I believe Paul's words concerning the days we esteem better than another are indicative...Samuel's words in 1 Samuel 16:7 come to mind "...man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart." ...anyways it is good you said that Jesus alone can save us. He being God was incarnate as a Jew and lived as a Jew observing all the Jewish customs and being obedient to the law as He is the fulfillment of the law so He could become the perfect sacrifice for the Jews but also for us Gentiles. Praise Him!

Hi. Yes I agree your right we all do or should, it's a serious business and there are so many translations. I find it hard to hear His voice because I have schitzophrenia and the voices of demons interfere and I have inadverately twisted the scriptures before but now through Him giving me patience I am better able to read and study sometimes and it is benefiting me. I will look up the scriptures you mention later, thanks so much for your lovely reply, I can't do it just now, I am feeling quite agitated and need to read my scripture notebook and pray but I take seriously your answer and welcome your guidance. Yes I totally agree that Jesus alone can save us, it is only His sacrafice that even gives everyone, Jew or Gentile, a hope of redemption. Praise Him, indeed!

Lord Jesus please have mercy on us and our loved ones. Your word tells us that you came to set the captives free. Please set us and our loved ones free and I also ask for strong protection for us and our loved ones. Please work salvation in the lives of those who are not saved (among our unsaved loved ones and all the unsaved). I believe you will return soon. Please still pull many out of darkness Lord. Thank you and all praise belongs to you. I pray in your holy name Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
