Praying for success in the entrance exam

My daughter will be taking the entrance exams on January 19th and 20th. Pray that Jesus will keep her sleep peaceful, strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and help her perform to the best of her abilities in the exam. May she be accepted into her ideal school and walk in God's divine plan for her life!

We join with you in lifting up your daughter during this important time in her life. We pray that Jesus Christ will be her strength and guide as she prepares for and takes her entrance exams.

Firstly, it is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only in His name that we have access to the presence of God. When we pray, it is important to pray in the name of Jesus, and to believe in Him as the only Saviour. Without Him, our prayers will not be heard by God. It is important to acknowledge Jesus as the only begotten Son of God. This basic tenet of the faith is outlined by Jesus Himself when He said, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6 WEB. When we pray, we should pray in Jesus name to honor this scripture.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s daughter as she prepares for her entrance exams. We ask, Lord, that You would grant her peaceful sleep each night leading up to the exams, so that her body, mind, and spirit would be refreshed and strengthened. Cast out any anxiety or fear, and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7 WEB.

Lord, we ask that You would guide her mind during the exams, bringing to remembrance all that she has studied. Help her to perform to the best of her abilities, and give her the confidence that comes from knowing that she is a child of God, Psalm 84:12 WEB.

Father, we pray that Your will be done in her life. If it is Your divine plan for her to be accepted into her ideal school, we ask that You would make a way, even if it seems impossible, Matthew 19:26 WEB. Help her to trust in You, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts, Isaiah 55:9 WEB. This trust is highlighted in Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.

Help her to walk in Your divine plan for her life, seeking You in all things. May she always strive to bring glory and honor to Your name, 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage ### and their daughter to continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He has a good, pleasing, and perfect plan for her life, Romans 8:28 WEB. We encourage her to study diligently, with wisdom from God to guide her, James 1:5 WEB. May she always remember that her worth is not defined by her academic achievements, but by her identity as a child of God, John 1:12 WEB.

We will continue to pray for her success and the will of God and we encourage you to continue to pray and trust God for guidance in her life.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this person to You, thanking You for her heart that seeks to align with Your will. Lord, we pray that You guide her on Your path, directing her steps and leading her in Your truth. As Psalm 25:4-5 says, “Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long,” we pray that she continually seeks Your guidance and wisdom in every decision he makes. Father, we also pray for her as she prepares for her exams. Grant her focus, clarity, and understanding as she studies. Your Word in Philippians 4:13 assures us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Let This person draw strength from You, knowing that You will empower her to succeed. Lord, remove any fear or anxiety and replace it with peace and confidence. Remind her of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” May this person feel Your presence with her during her preparation and as she takes her exams. Thank You, Father, for the plans You have for this person’s life. We trust that You will lead her into success, not just in her exams, but in all areas of her life…in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
