Praying for in prayers for my son has alcohol addiction and is wanting to end his life is very depressed and is tired of life please help me thank you.

Firstly, let's remember the promise of God in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'" This is not just a promise for you, but for your son as well. God has a purpose and a plan for his life.

However, it's crucial to acknowledge that addiction and depression are serious issues that require professional help alongside spiritual support. We encourage you to guide your son towards professional counseling and treatment. Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) tells us, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."

As for the suicidal thoughts, we must remember that life is a gift from God, and only He has the authority to give and take it. It's important to communicate this to your son. As it is written in Psalm 139:14 (WEB), "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up the son of our dear ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Break the chains of alcohol addiction, heal his mind from depression, and replace suicidal thoughts with hope and a desire to live. We pray all these in Jesus' name. Amen."
