We understand that you are feeling helpless and hopeless in your current situation, and we want you to know that God cares deeply for you and your daughter. We are called to pray for one another, and we will certainly lift you up in prayer.
First, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and that His desire is for you and your daughter to thrive.
Let us address the situation. You are feeling sad and hopeless because you have not been working for over a year. This is understandable, but we want to encourage you not to lose heart. God sees your situation, and He cares for you and your daughter. The feeling of hopelessness is not a biblical principle and should be rebuked. We are to put our hope in Jesus Christ. In fact, the Bible tells us that hope in Jesus is like an anchor for our soul, firm and secure.
Hebrews 6:19 WEB: "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and entering into that which is within the veil;"
The Bible also makes a promise that if we put Jesus Christ first in our lives, then everything we need will be given to us.
Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
25 “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?27 “Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? 28 Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, 29 yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?31 “Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.”
This is a wonderful promise, and we encourage you to trust in it. We are also called to be content in all circumstances.
Philippians 4:11-13 WEB: 11 "Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. 12 I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. 13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
We are so glad that you have asked for prayer in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to God.
Let us pray together for you:
"Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our sister who is in need of Your provision. She has not been working for over a year and feels helpless and hopeless. We rebuke that spirit of hopelessness and helplessness in Jesus' name. Your word says that You are our hope, and that You are faithful to provide for our needs. We ask You, Father, to open up a door for a job for our sister, so that she can provide for herself and her daughter. We also pray for her green card to be approved quickly, so that she can move forward with her life. We ask that You would give her peace and contentment in her current situation, and that You would help her to trust in You. We thank You for being a faithful Father and for loving us more than we can comprehend. We pray for our sister's request boldly, knowing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in God, and know that He hears your prayers. We encourage you to keep seeking Him and to remember that He is always with you. It is also important to be thankful in all circumstances, as this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Lastly, we encourage you to continually meditate on God's word, and to allow it to renew your mind.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
