We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are facing, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we thank God that you and your children were kept safe.
We must address this situation both legally and spiritually. The Bible tells us in Romans 13:1-4 (WEB) "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and they that withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."
Based on these verses, we can see that God has established authorities to punish those who do evil, and it is right to seek justice through these channels.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the mighty name of Your Son Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in this situation. We cry out to You. We pray for justice to prevail on behalf of our sister and her children. We ask that You guide the legal proceedings and grant wisdom to the judge presiding over this case. We pray that You will protect our sister and her children from any further harm, and that this man will be held accountable for his actions. We pray for his soul as he needs eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We ask that You work in his heart and convict him of his sins, and that he would repent and turn to You.
Lord, we also pray for healing and peace for our sister and her children. We ask that You would comfort them and help them to overcome any fear or trauma that they may be experiencing as a result of this ordeal. We ask that You do not allow him to return to cause more harm. Remove him from society for the safety of all. We pray that You would surround them with Your love and protection, and that You would guide them through this difficult time.
Lord, we know that You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son Jesus, who died to make us holy by His own pure blood. We come to You by the name of Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to remain strong in your faith and to trust in the Lord to guide you through this difficult time. We urge you to seek support from your local church community, and to continue to pray and seek God's will in all things.
We admonish you to stay far away from this man. He is not fit to be a spouse, a husband, have a family, or be in a relationship with a woman until he is able to accept responsibility for his actions and repent from his ways. We advise you to not be unequally yoked with him again. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) states "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
