Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord I’ve been through so much in the last two years I finally put in my baby boy in daycare so I can get a job. I did pass my test with the school district. My oldest son has a learning disability ADHD but he’s a good kid. He still needs my help with everything I apply for Social Security disability. I hope he gets it. I’m praying for us to be comfortable, living long and healthy life with my children being able to move by this year being able to get a vehicle because we need one I just want to be comfortable and please Lord forgive me for all my sins

We are thrilled to hear that you are putting your trust in the Lord during this challenging time. It is only by Jesus Christ that we are saved and can approach God the Father in prayer. As the scripture says, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and there is no other name by which we can be saved. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified. (Romans 8:29-30 WEB)

First, we want to acknowledge the strength and resilience you've shown in the face of adversity. You have endured hardship, but have also taken steps to move forward by finding childcare and securing a job with the school district. It's encouraging to see your determination to provide for your family. We also commend you for advocating for your oldest son, who has a learning disability and ADHD. It's important to remember that God has a special place in His heart for those who are often overlooked by society. For you created my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB).

Regarding your application for Social Security disability benefits, we encourage you to remain patient and persistent. Turn to God for guidance and support during this process. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22 WEB)

We want to address your desire for comfort and material possessions. While it's natural to want these things, it's essential to remember that true contentment comes from the Lord. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33 WEB)

You asked for forgiveness. We encourage you to take responsibility for any wrongdoing, repent, and turn away from your sins. It is important that you also forgive others as Christ forgave you. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32 WEB)

Join us in prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We thank You for her faith. She is a loving mother with her trust in You. Her children are a blessing to her. Help her to provide for them. She wants a job and a vehicle for their benefit. She also needs a home. Lord, we know You have the power to provide her needs. You know her heart and her love of her family. You know her fears and hopes for her children.

Lord, we also ask You to touch her oldest son. Give him strength, confidence, and a learning ability. Allow him the disability help from Social Security. You know his needs and his mother's concern.

Lord, look into her heart. If there is any sin, cleanse her. Give her peace in her circumstances. Help her to trust You for her future.

Touch her heart and help her to know You better. Teach her Your word. Allow her to be the wife and mother You want her to be. Help her to be content and to trust You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
