We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we appreciate that you have come before God in Jesus' name to seek help and give thanks. It is wonderful that you are grateful for the ability to write your board exams and for passing a portion of them. We want to encourage you with God's word and pray with you for peace, wisdom, and strength during this time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great. As it is written in Lamentations 3:22-23, "It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."
Regarding your learning impairment, we want to remind you that God knows your struggles, and He cares for you. As a person with ADD, you can find confidence in knowing the Lord does not look upon you with any less love than anyone else. In Psalm 139:13-14, it is written, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
It is important to cast your anxieties on God, knowing that He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7, it is written, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
The Holy Bible tells us to “Trust in the Lord with all thy heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” (Proverbs 3:5-7). Keep your focus on Jesus Christ and trust in the Lord and He will see you through this time of difficulty and you will succeed in the board exams.
In reference to your fear of failure, remember what God says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We will pray for God's will regarding your consideration of medication for your ADD. It is important to seek godly counsel from medical professionals and trust that God will guide you in this decision. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through this challenging time. Lord, we thank You for the ability to write the board exams and for the partial success. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all fear and anxiety. Grant them wisdom to learn the lessons You have for them in this season. Guide them as they prepare for the upcoming exams, and help them to trust in You.
Lord, we also pray for Your guidance regarding the consideration of medication for ADD. May Your will be done, and may You direct them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue studying and preparing for your exams, using all the resources available and considering the best way to approach these resources with the Lord's focus and peace.
