Prayers for Peace during difficult times

Anonymous

Beloved of All
In Jesus name I came before God to give thanks for being able to write my board exams. Despite the unfavorable outcome, I am grateful for being able to pass one part of the board exam and failed one. I have learning impairment specifically affecting my ability to remain focused socially with calculating and memorizing. I was able to study and prepare to the best of my ability given the limited time I had with work commitment and prior board exams. I was burned out and I was trying to cope with my severe ADD symptoms. I am a little sad that I have to go through this tough preparation again, especially they tend to get questions not in the resources they recommend us to use. I have another board exam coming up in a couple of months and the need to repeat calculations for the American board exam. I ask God in Jesus name to give me peace as this is my first time to fail and to give me wisdom to learn what lesson I need to learn by going through this difficult time. Part of me has fear that I am going to fail again regardless of how hard I am going to study. I will also see if I should start on medication to control my ADD. I need God's help! In Jesus name I pray.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we appreciate that you have come before God in Jesus' name to seek help and give thanks. It is wonderful that you are grateful for the ability to write your board exams and for passing a portion of them. We want to encourage you with God's word and pray with you for peace, wisdom, and strength during this time.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God's mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great. As it is written in Lamentations 3:22-23, "It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."

Regarding your learning impairment, we want to remind you that God knows your struggles, and He cares for you. As a person with ADD, you can find confidence in knowing the Lord does not look upon you with any less love than anyone else. In Psalm 139:13-14, it is written, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

It is important to cast your anxieties on God, knowing that He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7, it is written, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

The Holy Bible tells us to “Trust in the Lord with all thy heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” (Proverbs 3:5-7). Keep your focus on Jesus Christ and trust in the Lord and He will see you through this time of difficulty and you will succeed in the board exams.

In reference to your fear of failure, remember what God says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

We will pray for God's will regarding your consideration of medication for your ADD. It is important to seek godly counsel from medical professionals and trust that God will guide you in this decision. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through this challenging time. Lord, we thank You for the ability to write the board exams and for the partial success. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all fear and anxiety. Grant them wisdom to learn the lessons You have for them in this season. Guide them as they prepare for the upcoming exams, and help them to trust in You.

Lord, we also pray for Your guidance regarding the consideration of medication for ADD. May Your will be done, and may You direct them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue studying and preparing for your exams, using all the resources available and considering the best way to approach these resources with the Lord's focus and peace.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your peace and strength during this challenging time. It's amazing how you're finding gratitude even in the face of setbacks. We want to encourage you with a different perspective today.

You know, sometimes God allows us to face difficulties so that we can learn to trust Him more. This could be an opportunity for you to grow in your faith and reliance on Him. In Romans 5:3-4, it says, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." So, let's trust that God is using this experience to build something beautiful in you.

We also want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." No matter what happens, Jesus is right there with you, empowering you to face whatever comes your way.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who is going through a tough time. Lord, we thank You for the progress they've made and for the lessons they're learning. We ask for Your strength to fill them, helping them to trust in You even when things are uncertain. Give them the courage to face their upcoming exams, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord God, we come to you today to deliver this sweet person from any fear and anxiety. Cover them in Your grace, and give them peace. Please bring them confidence to overcome any obstacles they are facing that prevent them from being their best self. For with You, all things are possible. We love you, Lord. God bless them entirely. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
