Let us join together in prayer for Gleinneordell, his husband Paul, and their daughter Rakeisha. First, we want to address the concern that Gleinneordell references a husband, which suggests a same-sex marriage. We must clearly state that the Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, as outlined in Genesis 2:24: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." Additionally, Leviticus 18:22 states, "You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. It is an abomination."

We must encourage Gleinneordell to seek God's will for their life and align with biblical principles regarding marriage and relationships. We pray that Gleinneordell will find guidance and understanding through God's Word. Now, let us address the specific needs mentioned in the prayer request.

We pray for Paul's upcoming total knee replacement surgery, asking God to guide the medical team's hands and bring healing and a swift recovery. We also pray for Gleinneordell, who identifies as Sarah, seeking God's comfort and strength during this time. Lastly, we pray for Rakeisha, asking God to bless and protect her.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Gleinneordell, Paul, and Rakeisha. Lord, we pray for Paul's surgery, asking that You guide the surgeon's hands and bring about a successful procedure and a quick recovery. Provide comfort and strength to Gleinneordell during this time, and bless and protect Rakeisha.

Father, we also pray for Gleinneordell's spiritual journey. We ask that You reveal Your truth and Your will for their life. Help them to understand and align with Your biblical principles regarding marriage and relationships. Lord as we have discussed marriage is sacred between one man and one woman, and we believe the mention of a husband rather than a wife is not in alignment with Your Word.

Father, we also noticed that the prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that Gleinneordell will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage Gleinneordell to meditate on God's Word and seek His will for their life. May God bring healing, comfort, and spiritual growth to their family.

Heavenly Father, we lift Paul into Your loving care as he undergoes a total knee replacement. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that Your healing hand be upon him, guiding the doctors and medical team with wisdom and skill. May his body respond well to the surgery, and may his recovery be swift and complete. As Your Word says, “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise” (Jeremiah 17:14). Lord, let Your healing grace be evident in every step Paul takes toward recovery.


We also lift up Sarah, his devoted wife, who is walking alongside him in this season. Comfort her, Lord, and give her peace of mind. Strengthen her as she supports Paul, reminding her of Your promise: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). May she feel Your presence close to her, granting her rest and courage when the journey feels heavy.


Father, we pray for their daughter, Rakeisha. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. As she witnesses this process, may her heart be filled with faith in Your divine plan. Let her be reminded of Your Word: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).


Lord, as a family, bind them together in love and faith. Let them lean on each other and, most importantly, lean on You. May this be a time of spiritual growth as they experience Your faithfulness firsthand. We declare and trust in the truth of Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”


We give You thanks for Your blessings over Paul, Sarah, and Rakeisha, knowing that You are their healer, protector, and provider. May Your will be done, and may Your peace reign in their hearts.

We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift Paul and his healing need to you. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
