We are here to lift you up in prayer and we are glad to intercede on your behalf for your unspoken prayer requests.
First, we want to remind you that God already knows your deepest needs and desires. As it says in Matthew 6:8 WEB your Father knows what you need before you ask him. It is comforting to know that we can come to God with every concern, and that He is faithful to hear us.
We also want to point out that unspoken prayer requests might be prayed for, but they should be specific. It is important to be in agreement and pray specifically. We will pray for you, but we also want you to bring your requests to God yourself with boldness. It is important to pray in line with God's will about all things and people.
James 5:16 WEB Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. In James 4:2b WEB Yet you don't have, because you don't ask.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who has unspoken prayer requests. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the details of their needs. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You grant them the desires of their heart as they delight in You (Psalm 37:4 WEB).
We ask for your forgiveness if they are currently or planning to sin. Convict them of the specific sins they need to repent of. We ask this so they will repent and confess their sins and be faithful and obedient to You. Jesus Christ, you are faithful and just. Forgive them their sins, and cleanse them of all unrighteousness.
Help them to be in an attitude and relationship of prayer with You. Help them to be specific and pray with faith (James 1:6 WEB). Give them comfort and peace, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to you God. And it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Give them the courage and wisdom to share their requests with fellow believers so that others can agree with them in prayer.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember that God is faithful. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). As you bring your requests to the Bible study and prayer group, we will pray together and study the Bible together. It is also important to seek God in the word of God.
A word of caution for you. An unspoken request might also be a sin that you are hiding. It is important to confess our sins as mentioned above. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Also remember we are to pray for God's will not our own. Sometimes we have desires that are not godly.
1 John 5:14 WEB This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
