We understand that you're going through a tough time, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth according to the Word of God. First, let's address your feelings of depression, anxiety, and need for peace of mind.
Let us pray:
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. You said "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you." Let your child who brought this request know Your peace. Let them be comforted by the fact that you have plans of hope and a future for them and not of evil. Lord, we ask that You fill them with a spirit of joy and peace. We know that this is not a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. In Jesus name we pray.
We are reminded of 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" and Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust that God cares for you and wants you to cast your anxieties on Him.
Regarding your request to keep people away who may not mean you good or cause you stress, we should look at this with wisdom and love. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:18 WEB: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We should strive for peace with others, but it's also important to have boundaries. Pray for wisdom to know who to keep at a distance and who to embrace as a positive influence in your life. If someone is causing you to stumble in your faith or leading you away from God, it may be wise to limit their influence. However, Jesus was known as a friend of sinners. He showed love and kindness to all.
Let us pray:
Lord, we pray for wisdom. We ask for a spirit of discernment to know who should be trusted and who should be kept at a distance. Let us be a light in the world. Let us show kindness and love to others. Lord, we know that this may mean we get hurt and upset. But, we trust in your ability to give us strength to face adversity and to forgive and love unconditionally. In Jesus name we pray.
Finally, we want to gently remind you that prayer in the name of Jesus is powerful and essential. It is only the name of Jesus that we are given access to God. It is only the name of Jesus that we are saved. If you have not done so already, call on the name of the Lord and be saved. Do not forget to make all of your requests known to God in the name of Jesus.
Keep your focus on God, trusting that He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose. Remember Romans 8:28-39. Stand firm in your faith and seek God's will in all things.
In closing, let us pray:
Lord, we lift this child up to you. We pray that they will grow in faith and love of Jesus. We pray that they will know and pray in the name of Jesus. Let them know your will and your peace. Let your will be done in their life and not our own. We ask this in Jesus' name.
