We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, seeking God's protection, healing, and growth in Christ. We are reminded of His promises in Isaiah 40:28-29, "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might." and Ephesians 3:14-21, "For this cause, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to grasp with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother and his family. We ask for Your divine protection and healing over them. Grow them in the knowledge and love of Christ, and let it be apparent in Godliness. As a family they will be submitted to you as the head in everything. Lord, we petition You to remove their financial and work-related issues according to Your will that the husband and wife can take their proper roles. Let the husband submit to Your will providing and the wife to being submissive to her husband. May You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray that they would not only be delivered from these trials but also draw closer to You through them. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them as well. (Matthew 6:33)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May we encourage you to stand firm in faith? We live in a fallen world, yet we serve a risen Savior who has overcome the world. (John 16:33) We are to carry our cross daily and follow Him. Know that God is working all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Lastly we are reminded in Romans 8:18, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us."
