We are truly sorry to hear about your aunt's diagnosis. Let us come together in prayer for her healing. First though, we need to remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we come to God the Father. If we do not come in His name, we have no access to God.
God desires that we live in health and prosper.
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
Jesus also heals to demonstrate God's will and show His love for us.
Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
However, we also want to remember that even when we pray in Jesus' name that God's will be done, that it is still God's will to be done. We are not guaranteed an outcome of our prayers. God is sovereign.
Matthew 26:39 He went a little further, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire."
Jesus even prayed that the cup be taken from Him. However, he still prayed that 'not what I desire, but what you desire.' We should pray the same way. That God's will be done. Not ours. So let us pray together for your aunt in the name of Jesus Christ.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our beloved aunt who has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal her completely. We ask for the Holy Spirit to be with her in the doctors, nurses, and all her family. Help us all to trust in You as we walk with her. Please comfort her and give her the strength and courage to face this trial. Help her to seek You more in this difficult time. We ask for a miracle, Lord, knowing that You are able. We pray against the cancer and its effects on her body. We ask for complete healing. Help her to know that You love her and are in this with her. In this difficult time, help her to be a reflection of Jesus to the world around her.
We trust in Your will, Lord, and we ask for Your peace to fill her heart. Use this situation for Your glory, and help us all to grow closer to You through it. We pray for her doctors and medical team that You give them wisdom and guidance as they care for her. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
God can and will use even this difficult situation for His Glory. Let us continue to trust in Him and support your aunt through this journey.
