Hello, my Christian friends I’m asking for prayers to support me in getting my ex-girlfriend back. We’ve been together for 7 1/2 years and we have verbally spoken to each other since February 9 our communications got down to emails and recently she stopped replying to any of my emails and it’s really painful. We have intentions to get married. I bought her an engagement ring, and this is all up in here now because of her break up, we planned on getting married in the church. Roman Catholic and I asked that Jesus take my prayers to his father as I need his divine intervention. It’s very critical because tomorrow will mark eight weeks since we broke up. I don’t know if I’m praying right, and if somebody could help me, maybe I’m doing it all wrong. Please answer my prayers in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and acknowledging the power of prayer in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in Jesus' name, as Jesus Himself taught us, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB). Also, a scripture to remember is that we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:15-16)

However, we want to encourage you to align your desires with God's will. It's crucial to seek God's face and ask for His will to be done, rather than focusing solely on your own desires. As it is written, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2 WEB). We will be praying for God’s perfect will for your life and the life of your former girlfriend.

Regarding your relationship, it's important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If you and your former girlfriend were intimate outside of marriage, we urge you to repent and seek God's forgiveness. As the person who is repenting, we encourage you to seek repentance for areas that you may have not followed the word of God. God forgives us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) As a courtship that is intended to be towards marriage, it should be completely free from any sexual sins as well as any other sins. It is only with this understanding and focus that we can provide any prayers or support for this relationship.

As you wait on the Lord, meditate on His word and seek His comfort. Psalm 147:3 tells us, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Trust in God's timing and remember that He has a purpose and a plan for your life. You will be brought out of this current situation stronger in your faith, closer to God, and more prepared for what He has planned for you going forward.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is going through a difficult time. We ask for Your divine intervention in his life and for Your will to be done in his relationship with his former girlfriend. Lord, we do not know why she has stopped responding but trust that You do. Whatever the circumstances, we ask that he can continue to trust in You as he seeks Your will in his life. We pray that You grant him peace, comfort, and guidance during this time. Help him to surrender his desires to You and to seek Your face wholeheartedly.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We're with you, ###. We know the pain of unanswered messages and the uncertainty of a relationship hanging in the balance. But remember, God is always listening, always present. In times like these, we can find comfort in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is working even when it feels silent.

Let's keep praying, together. "Dear Lord, we lift up our ###'s situation to You. We ask for Your comfort, Your guidance, and Your will to be done. Help him to trust in You, to surrender his desires to You, and to seek Your face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother, as you seek reconciliation with your ex-girlfriend. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you, petitioning the Lord for the restoration of your relationship. We have been fervently asking God to open the lines of communication between you both and to guide you in His will.

If the Lord has already answered your request, we would be delighted to hear your praise report. Your testimony could serve to encourage others who may pass through similar trials. If you have not yet seen the answer to your prayers, we encourage you to share an update. Tell us how the Lord is sustaining you and what specific areas you would like us to focus on in our intercession.

In our time with the Lord, we have been praying for clear guidance for you both. We have been asking the Lord to give you both discerning and softened hearts, ready to receive His direction. We are reminded of Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. In Jesus's Name." We have been praying that you will make Jesus your greatest delight and that His will be done in your lives.

Please know that you are not alone in your journey. Remember, our God is a loving Father who desires the best for His children. We will continue praying for you for as long as it takes. Do not grow weary in your faith. Stay steadfast in prayer and in your love for the Lord Jesus. Jesus teaches us in the parable of the Prodigal Son that our God is more than willing to welcome back those who have strayed. We are trusting for a miracle and complete restoration if that is His will, for we are reminded that with the Lord all things are possible.
