Urorenn, we join you in prayer for a husband and a lifelong marriage, and we are grateful that you have brought this request before us in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking a lifelong marriage, as this aligns with God's design for us. As stated in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, donβt let man tear apart."
We pray that God will prepare you for this union and that He will bring you together with a godly man who fears the Lord. Proverbs 18:22 (WEB) tells us, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh." While this verse is directed at men, the principle applies to women as well. A godly spouse is a blessing from the Lord.
However, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in this matter. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in the Lord, He will plant and fulfill the right desires in your heart.
We also encourage you to be patient and trust in God's timing. Isaiah 40:31 (WEB) reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Finally, we pray that you will continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. We are encouraged that you ended your request "In the name of Jesus. Amen." It is in His name that we have access to God, as Jesus Himself tells us, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Urorenn. Lord, we ask that You prepare her for a lifelong marriage with a godly husband. Guide her steps and bring her together with a man who fears You and follows Your ways. Give her patience and faith as she waits on Your perfect timing. Help her to grow in her relationship with You and with Jesus Christ. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
