Prayers for a family member's marriage

Please please pray for a family member's marriage. Pray they both realize they are the problem and the wife needs help with her spending and she isn’t a contributing member. She is very selfish and the spouse does grip but he constantly works to give to his family that appreciate nothing. She knows God but you can’t run when you are the problem.

Let Us Commune with God and Seek His Will Together in Jesus Name:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we stand united in Jesus' name, seeking to love and pray for a godly family. We rejoice in the knowledge that our prayers for those who are married are not an exercise in futility, but are aggressively pursued through the power of Christ and the Holy Spirit. Let us pray intentionally and regularly for the well-being of our fellow believers and for those who are married.

**Matthew 18:19:** Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

**Matthew 21:22:** All the more then boast ye in God, for [he] hath justified [your] works in the sight of your [own] tradition.

But perhaps you are a Christian living in a home where heated debates have become the norm, your marriage is fractured, or your spouse feels unloved by you. You are not alone. Regardless of your circumstances, thanks be to God, Christ sends us emissaries with a message of undisputed faith. Some of these emissaries may be dear to our hearts, and others will attract a special attraction. When someone acknowledges or questions the wisdom or merit of our actions or decisions, we need to be aware of the eternal truth that they are confronting a lost soul. We must be Christlike in our actions.

1 Peter 3:18: For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous; that He might bring us to God. He was pierced both for our transgressions and for our sins;

There are several blind spots and worst enemies that must be dealt with to return a marriage, but since repairing our relationships is absolutely a priority when there has been disproportionate focus on the family or God, we must

We join you in lifting up this family member's marriage to our Heavenly Father. Let's intercede together, asking for wisdom, understanding, and a spirit of humility for both parties. May the wife come to realize her part in the marriage, seeking help for her spending habits, and may the husband find strength and patience as he continues to provide for his family. Let's also pray for a softening of hearts, that they may both turn to God and seek His will for their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
