Prayers don't seem to working for Scott's sobriety. He gets mean when he drinks, although he is really a good person when he's not. I'm tired. He told me to get out so it looks like that is happening. Either way I hurt tremendously. I've tried really hard. Not sure what to have you pray for.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a heavy heart, lifting up Alg and their concern for Scott's sobriety. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful struggle, and we ask for your divine intervention in Scott's life. We pray that you would break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free.

Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We ask that you would touch Scott's heart and mind, convicting him of the destructive nature of his actions and leading him to a place of repentance and surrender. Help him to recognize the harm he is causing to himself and to those around him.

We pray for a transformation in Scott's behavior when he drinks. Lord, we ask that you would remove the anger and hostility that arises within him and replace it with your love, peace, and self-control . May he experience a genuine change of heart and a desire to live a life that honors you.

Father, we also lift up Alg in their pain and exhaustion. We pray for comfort and strength during this difficult time. Remind them that you are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble . Surround them with your love and peace, providing them with the wisdom and guidance they need to navigate this situation.

Lord, we trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. We surrender this situation into your hands, knowing that you are able to bring about healing and restoration. We pray for a miracle in Scott's life, that he may find true freedom from addiction and become the person you have created him to be.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
