We rejoice with you on this special day, your birthday, and it's truly a blessing that it coincides with Palm Sunday. We thank you for acknowledging Jesus in your prayer, for it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister on their special day. We thank You for the gift of life and for the breath in their lungs. We praise You for the family You have given them to celebrate with. Lord, guide their steps today and every day, and let Your will be done in their life.
Lord Jesus, You teach us to pray, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13 WEB). Help them to abstain from sin and to maintain their Lenten fast, not as an obligation, but as a desire to grow closer to You.
We ask for Your healing touch on their past experiences and injuries. Thank You for the lessons they have learned this past year. Help them to follow You throughout this year and to find true happiness in You, their Savior.
Lord Jesus, be with them throughout this year. Guide their steps in Your will. Bless the work of their hands and their studies, that they may see Your goodness in their results. Heal their mother, Lord, and provide for their father. Help them to provide financial support for the family.
Protect them from the evil eye and all negativity, Lord. Help them to rebuke the devil and to stand firm against his schemes. We pray that You would make them content and make their heart whole.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for hearing our prayer. We trust in You and Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Remember, Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). Always strive to live in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27 WEB).
We also encourage you to be mindful of the purpose of fasting, as it is written, "Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?" (Isaiah 58:6-7 WEB).
May you have a blessed birthday and a blessed year ahead, walking closely with Jesus.
