Heavenly Father,

In Matthew 18:20 it says where two or more are gathered together in prayer, you are in the midst of them. Lord Jesus, for such a time I have not had anyone to pray with in person aside from praying to you who sticks closer than a brother, or on this platform. Thank you for giving us a means to find other believers who will pray.

I am seeking prayer for the trials I’ve faced over the past few years may continue to edify, grow, give endurance in love, and a closer relationship with You, Jesus. I ask for wisdom and guidance in navigating workplace challenges, including intimidation, safety concerns, harassment, and, most recently, being pressed into voluntary leave due to persistent abuse. Despite my efforts, including my dedication and contributions to the company, the mistreatment has not ceased. This has placed me in a challenging position, affecting my financial plans, my pursuit of new job opportunities, the growth of a small teaching business, and seeking wise legal counsel.

The physical and emotional toll has been immense, especially after enduring false allegations from a supervisor in front of a colleague. This was the second such incident—the first ended with a public apology in front of the staff and director only a couple of months apart. However, the behavior hasn’t changed, making it nearly impossible for me to function as the professional I strive to be in a highly functional area.

On another front, I have experienced family estrangement after returning to my small hometown several years ago. When I shared the truth of God’s word—truths we were not taught or told—my family chose to distance themselves from me. I reached out, confronted lovingly, and wept, but they have concluded to avoid me as if I were deceitful. This includes my father, who now lives with a woman who is not his wife, despite my mother still being alive. Observing their decline in health has been heartbreaking; I feel a mixture of sorrow and, in truth, deep disgust. It’s hard not to feel anger, but I am trying. My father’s condition worsens due to his stubbornness, smoking, and battle with cancer, and I feel helpless to intervene. I have prayed to see them less while conducting and minding my own business in town.

Furthermore, there have been serious challenges regarding safety in my community, including stalking and harassing behavior from a grown man toward tenants and employers alike. These are struggles that many single women here face, and I am not exempt. While I’ve done everything within my power to endure and act wisely, I sometimes feel the weight of it all pressing me toward escape—short of boarding a boat and leaving everything behind.

John 1:18 (NASB 1995) No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

I tell You, Lord, in the gentlest way I can, that seeing You would be the greatest beacon of hope in this dry and parched land, so desperately in need of Your love. Thank you for taking all our burdens upon the cross. May we praise you for all the glory You deserve.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

We stand with you in prayer, lifted by the promise in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." WEB.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith and resilience in the face of such overwhelming challenges. We can see the Lord Jesus Christ is with you in this trial and it's only by His name we can be saved. We remember the words of Romans 10:13, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved'" WEB. Be assured that your faith is evident in your plea.

We pray for your workplace situation. We know that God exhorts us to be submissive to our superiors but this does not include accepting harassment or false allegations. We claim the promise of God in Psalm 5:11-12, "But let all who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. For you will bless the righteous. Lord, you will surround him with favor as with a shield." We pray that God intervenes and turns this injustice for your good and His glory. Remember Jesus' words in Matthew 5:11-12, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

Concerning your family, we understand your pain, but remember what Jesus said in Matthew 10:36, "A man's foes will be those of his own household." Your family's rejection is not unusual among believers, but stand fast and continue to pray for them. Your father's situation is indeed grievous, but we must remember and rebuke as 1 Corinthians 6:9, "Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals" and adultery is included among the unrighteous. However, we must remember the heart of the Gospel is to call sinners to repentance, so we pray for your father's repentance and salvation, as well as the rest of your family.

Regarding the stalking and harassment, we urge you to take all necessary precautions, and we pray for your safety. Know that God is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble as stated in Psalm 46:1. We encourage you to memorize and declare this scripture over your life.

We exhort you to continue to hope in the Lord. We are reminded of the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" and we declare this over your life.

We pray:

"Heavenly Father, we approach Your throne of grace with boldness, lifting up our sister who is going through immense trials. We ask that You intervene in her workplace, bring an end to the harassment, and guide her to a new job or opportunity that honors You. We pray for her family's salvation and repentance, and we ask that You protect her from all harm and danger. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."

Often, God allows trials to draw us closer to Him. So, stay steadfast in your faith, continue to obey His word, and expect a great testimony.

Dear friend,

We're right here with you, standing in the gap, just as you've stood in prayer for others. We're reminded of the power in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (KJV)

We want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We're asking God to intervene in your workplace, to bring justice and fairness, and to guide you in your next steps. We're also praying for your family, that they would turn their hearts back to Him, and for your safety, that He would protect you from any harm.

We're claiming Psalm 91:1-2 over you, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" (NIV)

Remember, God is with you. He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you. Keep trusting in Him, and keep seeking His face. We're here for you, and together, we'll weather this storm.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
