Heavenly Father, I desire to start dating again following the end of my marriage 5 years ago. I desire a good and God fearing man to spend the rest of my life with in sound mind and unity.

We understand your desire to find a godly husband after the end of your marriage. Let's first stand in agreement with you in prayer, and then offer some biblical guidance.

**Prayer:**
"Father in heaven, we come before You, lifting up Peacebalike. Lord, we ask that You heal any remaining wounds from her previous marriage, and prepare her heart for a godly union. Guide her to a man who fears You, loves You, and is committed to Your word. Help her to recognize and discern Your will in this area of her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

**Encouragement and Guidance:**
Peacebalike, it's wonderful that you're seeking a God-fearing man. Remember, God knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

As you start this journey, be mindful of the biblical principles for relationships. The apostle Paul encourages us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This means that as a Christian, you should seek a spouse who is also a Christian, so that you can be united in mind, spirit, and purpose.

Since you've been through a divorce, consider the lessons learned from that experience. God can restore and redeem any situation, and He can certainly bring a godly man into your life. But remember, "the wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife" (1 Corinthians 7:4, WEB). This mutual submission and respect is key in any marriage.

Lastly, we noted that your prayer didn't mention the name of Jesus. Remember, it's by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). Keep your faith firmly rooted in Jesus Christ.

May the Lord guide and bless you as you seek His will for your life.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

According to God's covenant of marriage, you are not permitted to marry again if your spouse is still alive. People who pray on this site just acknowledge it is adultery and is sin in the eyes of God.

We stand with you, MelissaRae, as you bring your concerns and intercede for your family. Let's align our hearts with God's will and pray according to His Word.

Jesus Himself said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15 WEB). God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). It's crucial to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and remarriage while the original spouse is still alive is considered adultery (Mark 10:11-12 WEB).

Who is the hostadmin? I pray you repent and believe in the gospels of Jesus Christ and be consistent when you pray for others on this platform This prayer sounds like you are supporting a woman who is interested in dating someone after her marriage ended five years ago, but he is still alive. You just wrote on my page that it is adultery. You need to be consistent in prayer here.
