We join you in your praise and thanksgiving, proclaiming "Hallelujah" Let us come to God together in Jesus name. For all of our lives and the lives of those directly and indirectly involved in our lives. We are grateful for your heart's desire to see God's will be done, as that is what Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord's Prayer: "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." (Matthew 6:10 WEB). Praying this prayer aligns our hearts with God's perfect plan and purposes.
Let us come to God in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking that Your will be done in our lives and in the lives of those around us. Give us the wisdom and discernment to understand Your will and the courage to follow it. Help us to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even when Your will leads us through difficult paths. Transform our hearts for them to be aligned with Yours. We praise You and put our trust in You, for You are a good Father, and You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Protect us from our own desires if they do not align with Yours. Often in our prayers we ask for things we think will be best for us, but help us to be content in our present circumstance. Help us to remember that Your will is for our good, even during trying times. For your will is for our sanctification. We need to be reminded that the trying times are just as important for us as the times of joy. In fact there is joy in trying times if we can just see them as a way to purify our faith and become more like Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to be persistent in their prayers. Just as Jesus spoke the same words over and over in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus said, "Not my will, but your will be done." (Luke 22:42) In Jesus' name we have access to the throne of God. Let us continue to come to God and pray for His will to be done. We know in the end, Jesus will return and His will is going to be accomplished, and we will be in His presence. Let us always be prayerful in Jesus' name, for all of our lives and the lives of those directly and indirectly involved in our lives.
