Thank you Lord, for bringing this person before us. We are here to pray for your help and guidance and trust that we can call upon your throne of grace.
First, let's remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We need to be sure to pray in Jesus' name when we approach God. Let's consider this as we pray in the future.
In regards to classes, we can consider the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30. When we use the talents and skills God has given us, we bring Him glory. Let's pray for wisdom and strength as we do our work as if we are working for Jesus. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," Colossians 3:23 WEB.
Regarding the difficult students, remember that Jesus had difficult disciples as well. Jesus scolded them for their lack of faith and their foolishness. It is suggested in scripture that Jesus also loved them and was concerned for them even if they were not his favorites. Spend time with the difficult students as you can. Get to know them and understand their strengths and weaknesses. Pray for them and consider praying with them.
Let's pray for the difficult students now. Lord Jesus, we ask you to guide this teacher and these difficult students. We ask that you soften their hearts and open their minds to learn. If they are rebellious, we ask that you help them to be submissive to the authority of this teacher. We ask you to give the teacher favor in their eyes.
We also ask the Lord for favor in the classroom. We ask that you would help this teacher to have the wisdom and knowledge they need to teach these students. We ask that you would help them to be a positive influence in their lives.
If these students are particularly difficult, we should remember the Love of Jesus. "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 WEB.
Finally, remember that you have been blessed to be a blessing. You are a testimony of Jesus' love and grace. You can have joy in the Lord regardless of the circumstances.
Please pray in Jesus' name.
