Thank you for bringing this concern to us. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we appreciate that this request is in the name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written: “In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.” (Ephesians 3:12 WEB)
For those who are struggling with unemployment, we want to encourage you to stay faithful and keep hoping. God knows our needs and He cares for us. We are reminded of this in the words of Jesus:
“Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up these individuals who are in need of employment. We ask that You open the right doors for them, and guide them to jobs that align with Your will for their lives. We know that You are faithful and that You care for our needs. We pray that You give them the strength and faith to endure this period of waiting.
We pray for their families and loved ones as well, that You would bless them with peace, provision, and patience as they stand by those who are seeking employment.
In Jesus’ name, we believe and trust that You will provide for their needs. We ask this in agreement and faith, Amen.
In the meantime, let us all be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul:
“Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9 WEB)
Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep hoping. God is faithful.
