If it be the will of the Lord, will I get my old job at ### back or is it a closed chapter?

We understand that you're seeking guidance about your former job and the will of God in this situation. Firstly, we would like to mention the importance of including Jesus in our prayers. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father.

First, let's remember that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We serve a sovereign God who has a plan for our lives. It is important to align with this plan even if it means moving forward in a new direction.

In the Bible, we are told to be content in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in. Paul said "Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it." (Philippians 4:11 WEB). It is not easy to lose a job, but it is important to recognize that God can use even this situation for your good.

Rather than focusing on the old job, let's pray for God's will to be done in your life and for new opportunities that glorify Him. It is more important to be in the center of God's will than to have any particular job. If it is God's will, He can open the door for you to return to your old job, but He may also have a new path for you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for our brother/sister's employment situation. We ask that You guide them and open the right doors for their career. If it is Your will for them to return to their old job, we pray that You would make a way. If not, we ask that You would help them to accept this and move forward in the direction You have for them.

Help them to trust in You and to be content in whatever circumstances they find themselves in. Give them the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for their life.

We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
