Thank you for submitting your prayer request and seeking God's will. We appreciate your heart's desire to align with His purposes. In Jesus' name we come boldly to the throne of grace to find mercy and grace to help in time of need, just as the scriptures tell us in Hebrews 4:16 WEB: "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." It is through Jesus we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Firstly, let's acknowledge God's sovereignty and goodness. We know that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Remember Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This is a promise we can hold onto as we seek His will.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your will. We thank You for their heart's desire to align with Your purposes. Guide them, Lord, by Your Holy Spirit, and give them the wisdom and discernment they need. Help them to trust in You, even when the path is unclear. We do pray against any influences of the enemy as they are seeking God. We pray that they would seek God and His righteousness first and know that God will supply all their needs.
Lord, we ask that You reveal any areas in their life that may not be pleasing to You. Help them to turn away from anything that does not honor You. We pray that they would not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of their mind. We believe that this is the will of God, good and acceptable and perfect. This is from Romans 12:2.
Help them to be patient and wait on Your timing. We know that Your thoughts and ways are higher than ours, and You have a good, pleasing, and perfect will for their life.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to the Father. It is only through the name of Jesus that they can be saved and have a right relationship with You. It is by His stripes they are healed. It is by His death, burial, and resurrection that they can live eternally.
Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. God is at work in your life. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep pursuing His will. He is faithful, and He will do it. Remember the words of Philippians 1:6 WEB: "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
If there are any specific areas of your life that you feel may not be aligning with God's will, we encourage you to repent, turn away from them, and seek God's forgiveness. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is from 1 John 1:9.
Lastly, always remember to put God first in your life and God will supply all your needs. Therefore, put God first and have no other gods or things that you put first.
Again, we do pray for God's will to be done in your life and if you have no specific areas to address, please consider and be aware of these biblical principles.
