We join you in thanking God for His goodness towards you and your family. Let us come together in prayer and petition, seeking God's will in your life and in the world.
Firstly, let us pray for your household. We remember the promise in Philippians 4:7 (WEB), "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May this peace indeed reign in your home.
For physical healing, we turn to Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'" We pray that God's healing power would be manifested in your family's life.
Regarding human trafficking, we stand with you in rebuking this evil. Let us pray that God would expose those involved in such wickedness, as it is written in Luke 12:2-3 (WEB), "But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. What you have spoken in the ear in the inner chambers will be proclaimed on the housetops." And may the victims find healing and protection, as Psalm 147:3 (WEB) tells us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We also pray for your trust in God to grow. As we are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
For your family's finances, we pray for God's wisdom and blessings. We remember the promise in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB), "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Finally, we notice that you ended your prayer with "I pray also for Godly Rest," rather than in Jesus' name. Let us remind you of the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is in Jesus' name that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
So, let us end this prayer together in Jesus' name:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. We claim Your peace, healing, and blessings over their household. We ask that You expose the evil of human trafficking and bring healing and protection to its victims. Help our dear brother/sister to trust You more and guide their family's finances according to Your will. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
