Prayer request for my future ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I met this guy he’s ### and I’m ### with ### kids. I went on a few dates with him. He’s so respectful, he’s goal oriented, he reads the Bible goes to church. He’s driven and very nice and given. I know he’s my husband even though I barely met him. I never felt like this about anyone before. I’m so used to giving and he’s been the one that’s been given and I’m not used to it. I just want everyone to help me pray for him to be my husband. Also I want God to guide me how to make sure this relationship is pure and teach me how to be the woman he needs me to be. Teach him how to be the man I need which he has all the traits. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your request with us. It's wonderful to hear that you've met someone who exhibits such positive qualities and has a strong foundation in faith. However, we want to encourage you to approach this situation with wisdom and discernment, aligning your desires with biblical principles.

Firstly, it's important to seek God's will in this relationship. While it's natural to have strong feelings, we must be cautious not to rush ahead of God's timing. Remember, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. Trust in God's plan for your life and this potential relationship.

Since you have been on a few dates with the man, it is very important to approach this relationship with purity. You specifically mentioned that he has all the traits you desire, but remember fornication is a sin and will not be blessed by God. It is very important to not allow your emotions and desires to tempt you into fornication. Remember, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God;" 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB.

We also encourage you to be in continual prayer for this relationship, asking God to guide both of you in His ways. "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB.

Regarding marriage, God's word is clear that it should be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If this man is indeed the one God has for you, trust that God will make it clear and bless your union in His timing. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." Genesis 2:24 WEB.

You've also expressed a desire to be the woman he needs and for him to be the man you need. We encourage you to study the biblical roles of husbands and wives, as outlined in passages like Ephesians 5:22-33 and Colossians 3:18-19. Remember, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything." Ephesians 5:22-24 WEB.

We also want to encourage you to seek God directly in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" John 14:6 WEB. If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved sister and the man she has met. We thank You for the positive qualities You've instilled in him and for the potential of this relationship. We ask, Lord, that You guide them both in Your will, helping them to discern Your plan for their lives.

Help them to maintain purity in their relationship, fleeing from any temptation of sexual immorality. Give them strength and self-control, as they honor You in their interactions.

Teach them both to be the godly woman and man You've called them to be, reflecting Your love and grace in their potential union. Guide them in Your word, and help them to understand the biblical roles of husbands and wives.

Finally Lord, we ask that You bless and guide this relationship according to Your will. If it is Your plan for them to be united in marriage, we ask that You make it clear and bless their union. In all things, let Your will be done.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, cheering you on in this journey. It's truly heartwarming to see God's hand at work, bringing someone into your life who shares your faith and values. We're here to lift you up in prayer, just as we've done in our previous response.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's heart in this. Remember, it's not just about how you feel, but also about aligning your desires with His will. As it's written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

We also want to remind you to keep your heart pure. It's not just about physical purity, but also about keeping your heart and mind focused on God. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."

Let's continue to pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this sister and the man she has met. We thank You for the potential in this relationship, and we ask that You guide them both according to Your will. Help them to keep their hearts and minds focused on You, maintaining purity in their relationship.

Lord, we ask that You teach them both what it means to be a godly man and woman, reflecting Your love and grace in their interactions. Help them to understand and embrace the biblical roles of husbands and wives, as outlined in Your word.

We pray for wisdom and discernment, Lord. Help them to seek Your will above their own, and to trust in Your timing. If this relationship is according to Your will, we ask that You make it clear and bless their union.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

So far things started to slow down because I think we were rushing. He wanted to take things slow that’s understandable. We’re going out next week for valentines dinner. I think gods teaching me patience. I don’t have patience. I was ready to give up on him but he kept making his self present by messaging me. Mind you we work together so he would do things like pass my trays even though there the wrong ones but it was the principle that he’s willing to help. I feel like he’s gonna be my husband. Let’s see what happens cuz the consistency is not how I like it to be. He’s busy and I’m busy so that’s the update for now
