We are grateful for the opportunity to intercede for this situation in Jesus' name. We understand that this friend is going through a struggle with their faith and a difficult situation in a friendship. Firstly, let us remember that our help comes from the Lord, this is the confidence that we have, that if we ask anything according to the will of God, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him in Jesus name 1 John 5:14-15 WEB.
We rebuke the enemy's plans to cause division, strife, and confusion. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12 WEB. We ask God to destroy the plans of the enemy and bring peace between these friends.
It is wonderful that this prayer is being asked in Jesus' name. Let us remember that there is power in the name of Jesus. For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. It is by this name that we have access to God. Let us continue to believe and pray in His name.
We pray that God will strengthen the faith of the friend and speak to them in a clear and personal way. Lord, increase their faith, may it be effectual and fruitful, producing every kind of good deed in their lives. We ask that the Holy Spirit will guide them into all truth, showing them what they need to see and understanding, dissolving any lies or confusion John 16:13 WEB.
We pray that God will soften their heart towards the other friend, removing any anger, hurt, pride, and unforgiveness. We ask for them to have a heart of humility, patience, love, and forgiveness. We pray for a heart of understanding towards the other friend. We pray that they will reach out to each other today to reconcile, restoring the peace and unity that God intended for this friendship.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this friendship and the struggles they are facing. We ask, Lord, that You strengthen the faith of this friend and speak to them in a powerful way. Reveal to them the truth about the situation and show them that their friend cares deeply for them. Soften their heart, Lord, and remove any anger, hurt, pride, and unforgiveness. Replace these with peace, love, a forgiving and understanding heart, patience, and humility. We stand in the gap for them and declare that they will reach out to their friend today to reconcile in Jesus' mighty name. We pray that You will foil the enemy's plans and bring peace and unity to this friendship. We ask this all in Jesus Christ's name. For it is only in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and reconcile to God. Let us also remember to share our faith in Jesus Christ with this friend. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen. Psalm 62:8 WEB
Lastly, we encourage both friends to continue to seek the Lord and His will for their lives. To be open and honest with each other as they reconcile, building a stronger and God-honoring friendship. May they continue to encourage one another in their faith and hold each other accountable.
