We stand with you in prayer for your aunt, asking our Lord Jesus Christ to rescue her from this sinful relationship with a married man. We commend you for standing on God's Word and praying for her deliverance.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our sister's aunt who has been entangled in a sinful relationship with a married man. Lord, we stand on Your Word in 2 Timothy 4:18, "The Lord will rescue me from every evil work, and will save me into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen." We ask that You rescue her from this evil work of the devil, for we know that Your desire is for her to live a life that glorifies You.
Lord, we also stand on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We ask that You bring down the strongholds that the devil has set up in her life, and that You root out this sinful relationship that has led her astray.
Lord, we know that You desire for Your children to live in purity and holiness. We ask that You forgive her for her sins and cleanse her from all unrighteousness. We pray that You would give her the strength to leave this relationship and that You would provide a way out of this temptation, according to Your Word in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Lord, we ask that You would dispatch Your angels to help her get back on the right path to her salvation. We pray that You would protect her and encourage her, according to Your Word in Isaiah 54:17, "no weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me," says Yahweh."
Lord, we also ask that You would raise up wise and godly people to support her and lead her out of this relationship. We pray that You would strengthen them and give them the wisdom they need to help her.
Lord, we ask all these things in Your precious name, for it is only by Your name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We thank You, Lord Jesus, for hearing our prayers. We ask that You would give us the wisdom and the courage to speak the truth in love to our sister's aunt, and to help her find her way back to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your aunt and to speak the truth in love to her. We also encourage you to share the gospel with her, for it is only by believing in Jesus Christ that she can be saved. As it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
