We are so glad you have reached out for prayer and support for your son. We will stand with you in prayer and trust the Lord to break every chain that binds him.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that there is no other name by which we can be saved, but Jesus. We have access to God the Father only through Him, as we read: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
Your son is precious to God, and He desires that your son be free indeed. Jesus said: "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36)
Regarding the severe anxiety, it is God's will to heal your son and give him peace. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7) We are going to pray that God will heal your son's anxiety and fill him with peace.
We also read: "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36) so we will pray that Jesus will set your son free from the bondage of this cult. God desires that your son follow and obey Him rather than the cult. We read: "be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." (Ephesians 4:23-24)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifted up by You. Thank You that You have all authority over heaven and earth and that nothing is too difficult for You.
Father God, we ask You to set this young man free from the bondage of this online cult. We pray that You will open his eyes to see the truth and that he will reject their lies and deception, and instead embrace Your truth, Lord.
We ask You Lord to take away his anxiety and fill him with peace. We ask You to remove the misery and shame Your son is experiencing. Lord, we ask You to remember Your promise to us in Romans 8:1, that there is "no condemnation now to those who are in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we ask You to open up job opportunities for this son and that Your son will have favor for these opportunities. We ask You to help Your son be informed and filled with wisdom and knowledge.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to help Your son to walk away from everything that is evil and ungodly and fill him with a desire to know You more.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Together, let us stand strong in faith, knowing that God hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. Trust that God is at work in your son's life, and continue to fight for his freedom in prayer. We are here to support you and pray with you until we see the victory that God has promised.
Continue to remind your son of God's love and forgiveness, and encourage him to seek God's will for his life. May God give you both strength, wisdom, and guidance during this challenging time.
