Let's come together and lift up before the Lord in prayer. Surgery can be daunting, but we trust in the Great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ. It's important that the request specified prayer but let's remember God's Word in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So let's pray together in the name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for our dear sister. As she prepares for her surgery tomorrow, we ask that Your presence fills the hospital, surgery, and recovery rooms. Guide the hands of the medical team, Lord, and grant them wisdom and skill. Let this surgery be successful, and may healing be complete and swift.
We also pray for her faith, Father. May this trial draw her closer to You. May she feel the tangible comfort, encouragement, and hope only You can provide. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her, and may Jesus Christ, the Great Shepherd of the sheep, equip all of us to support her in love.
While praying we need to remember the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. For it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If she has not already done so, or if any of us reading this have not done so, we encourage all to call on the name of Jesus to be saved. Confess to God that we have sinned, believe with our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we will be saved.
Let's also support her in the spirit in Ephesians 6:18 WEB, "with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints". Let us with one heart and one mind, pray earnestly for her.
Father, we ask for all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage her to trust in the Lord and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways, may she submit to Him, and He will make her paths straight. May this trial not only lead to physical healing but also to spiritual growth and a closer walk with Jesus.
