We understand your concern for your son's recent behavior changes and we will pray and provide advice for you both. Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, we are told in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let's pray together for God to guide and change your son's heart:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this mother's concerns for her son. Lord, you know the challenges he is facing right now, and we ask that You intervene in his life. Help him to see the importance of his studies and to use his time wisely, especially as his exams approach.
We pray against any addiction to games and videos, and we ask that You help him to prioritize his responsibilities. Help him to understand the importance of rest and to maintain a healthy sleep schedule. We also pray that he would be considerate of others in his household, and that his behavior would be a reflection of Your love and peace.
Lord, we ask that You would draw him close to You, and that he would come to know and love Jesus Christ as his Savior. We pray that You would work in his heart and mind, and that You would bring about a transformation in his life.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Now, let us address some biblical principles that may help both of you. It is important to remember that children are a gift from God, and that we are to train them up in the way they should go. Proverbs 22:6 WEB says Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. This includes teaching them the importance of responsibility, time management, and consideration for others.
It is also important to address the issue of addiction, as it can have a strong hold on anyone's life. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB says No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
We encourage you to have an open and honest conversation with your son about his behavior and the concerns you have. Use this as an opportunity to share the gospel with him and to help him understand the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Finally, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in the Lord's timing. Remember that God is at work in your son's life, even when it may not seem like it. Continue to pray for him and to seek God's will for his life.
Galatians 6:9 WEB says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
