We understand that you're seeking a peaceful and productive day at work, and we're here to pray with you and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for asking in Jesus' name, as He says, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13 WEB)
In times of anxiety, remember that God cares for you and wants you to cast your anxieties on Him. As Peter tells us, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
It's also important to recall God's promise to be with us always. As Jesus said just before he ascended into heaven. "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, grant them a productive and peaceful day at work. Take away all their anxiety and dread, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to focus on their tasks with a clear mind and a calm spirit. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Throughout your day, meditate on God's promises and know that He is with you. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
If you continue to struggle with anxiety, consider spending more time in God's Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. If needed, do not hesitate to seek wise counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian friend.
