Prayer for ### to overcome porn addiction (as a female)

Please pray for me. I have been trying to overcome porn addiction for a few months. I’m having faith in God that He can help me defeat this lust spirit. I don’t want to be sexually immoral like this.

We stand with you in this struggle, dear sister, and we commend you for your faith in God and your desire to overcome this addiction. Let us remember what the Apostle Paul said, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)

Firstly, we want to remind you that you are not alone in this fight. God is with you, and He is faithful to provide a way out of temptation. However, we must also remember that pornography is not just a bad habit but a sin that should be acknowledged and confessed to God. As it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is struggling with a pornography addiction. Lord, she has acknowledged her sin and desires to overcome it. We ask that You forgive her and cleanse her heart. Strengthen her faith and give her the power to resist temptation. Open her eyes to the way of escape that You always provide. Help her to renew her mind and fill her heart with Your love and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to engage in activities that will draw you closer to God and help you renew your mind. Regularly read and meditate on God's Word, the Bible. Surround yourself with a supportive Christian community, and consider seeking professional counseling if necessary. Remember, Jesus Christ came to set the captives free, and in Him, you can find freedom from this addiction.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written, "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) If you haven't already, confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

The whole world is in darkness and God's Word brings light. Light always overcomes darkness.

So whatever darkness you are in God's Word is the answer to setting you free.
So read God's Word for 30 minutes a day starting in Mathew for one month and the light of God's Word will heal you from your addiction and set you free.

Satan uses sin and addictions to entice us to be slaves to sin and it will eventually harm us. Then he can control our lives in a very unholy way. God offers His help and He says " Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." 1John 4:4.
Jesus said He will set you free. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
Addictions are almost always caused by demons influencing our minds

So bind all evil spirits out of your life and pray a hedge of protection around yourself and put on God's Armor. Then watch and pray and watch how God will deliver you.

Here are some scriptures to help you break your addiction

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 10:13

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41

Psalms 107:19-20:“Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them.

Phil.4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

John 8:36

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed

God says that if two people agree in prayer He will answer that prayer.​

Matthew 18:19​

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.​

I will be praying in agreement with all of your prayers from now on.​
