We understand your struggle and commend you for turning to God in this situation. The Bible tells us, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
Firstly, we are thankful that you prayed in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
Now, let us pray together for your situation.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing challenges at work. We pray that You grant them the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience or longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 WEB. Help them to stay calm and gracious, even in the face of trials.
Lord, we ask that You shield them from any negativity or manipulation. Grant them discernment to navigate these dynamics wisely. Guide them in every interaction with their coworker, and give them the strength to respond with patience and wisdom. Above all, help them to keep their focus on doing their best work and to trust that You are in control.
Father, we pray for their coworker. We ask that You expose any two-faced intentions and attitudes, but also give them mercy and grace. We know that it is through Your servant's prayers that You can change hearts and minds, as through their prayers You can grant clarity, fairness, and the ability to see each person's intentions and actions.
We pray these verses over the situation: Put them in your heart, so that you do not sin against them. In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB.
Finally, we pray that You fill them with Your grace and strength, allowing them to rise above any pettiness and remain true to Your love and purpose. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, consider these verses as you go through the day. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 WEB
This is a trial to be embraced, not a curse. We are to count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4 WEB.
