We join with you in fervent prayer for the upcoming elections in your country on April 2, 2025. We stand together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that He is the one who installs and removes kings and governments. We pray for God's will to be done and for His purposes to be established in your nation.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the upcoming elections in [country]. We pray for Your divine intervention and guidance during this time. We ask that You grant peace and wisdom to all those involved in the electoral process.
Lord, we pray for the governing party. If it is Your will for them to continue leading, we ask that You grant them a heart of service. Help them to address the issues of corruption and nepotism, and give them a genuine desire to improve the lives of their constituents. We pray that they would be diligent in addressing the needs of the people, fixing roads, improving infrastructure, building schools, and tackling unemployment.
We also pray for the voters. Grant them discernment and wisdom as they cast their ballots. Help them to see beyond empty promises and to vote for leaders who will truly serve and represent them.
Father, we know that righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people (Proverbs 14:34 WEB). Stir up a hunger for righteousness in the hearts of the leaders and the people. Help them to turn away from corruption and to pursue justice and integrity.
We stand on Your promise that when Your people, who are called by Your name, will humble themselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from their wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your healing and restoration in [country]. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your nation and its leaders. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
Stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord's ability to change hearts and transform nations. Be a light in your community, sharing the love of Christ and the hope that comes from the gospel. Continue to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
