We understand that you're feeling weak and spiritually oppressed, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's crucial to remember that our strength comes from the Lord. As it says in "Psalm 28:7 WEB 'Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.'"
In times of spiritual oppression, we must put on the full armor of God. "Ephesians 6:10-12 WEB Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling weak and spiritually oppressed. We pray that you would strengthen them according to your Word. Give them the power and peace that comes only from you. Help to put on the full armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Lord Jesus, you came to set the captives free. We rebuke any spiritual oppression in your name. We ask God that you would fill them with your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength and freedom they need. We also ask God for a peace that passes all understanding.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God's strength is made perfect in weakness. "2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember that he is with you always. If you feel that you need further discussion, please let us know.
One last point that we would like to discuss is that we did not notice a mention of the name of Jesus in the original request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. If this confuses you, please ask us about basic salvation.
