We are here to lift you up in prayer and to encourage you in your spiritual battle. Firstly, it is important to remember that our strength comes from the Lord. Even when we feel weak, He is our fortress and our shield. As it is written in Psalm 28:7-8, "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him. Yahweh is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed."
In times of spiritual battle, it is crucial to put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. As Ephesians 6:10-11 tells us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With God on our side is no one else.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling weak and weighed down. We pray that You would grant them supernatural strength through Your Holy Spirit, and set them free from the spiritual battle they are facing. We are only strong in the name of Jesus. Jesus, it is only by you that we have access to God. It is only by your death on the cross and resurrection that we can be saved. Help us to remember that your great love it is only by Jesus that we can be saved. No one else can save us. Lord, equip them with Your whole armor, that they may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give them courage, faith, and perseverance to endure and overcome this trial. Remind them of Your unfailing love and presence with them always. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Stay strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this battle. Jesus says we will be persecuted for our belief in him. So be steadfast. Do not forget that Jesus is the only way to heaven.
