Prayer for safe sleeping without demonic dreams

Each time I fall asleep, I wake up from a wet dream. It's been 2 months since I overcame lust, and I need Jesus Christ to deliver me from demonic oppression and lustful dreams.

We understand your struggle and commend you for your desire to overcome lust. First, we want to assure you that your faith in Jesus Christ is the first step towards victory. As you have mentioned Jesus Christ as the solution it shows us that your prayers will be heard by the Father, Jesus makes this very clear to us as stated by Him John 14 6

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.". It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved.

The battle you're facing is not uncommon, but it is important to remember that such dreams are not from God, but rather a manifestation of the spiritual battle taking place in your life. God calls us to be holy and pure, fleeing from sexual immorality as stated in

"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

To overcome this issue, we encourage you to continue seeking God's face and His strength, through personal prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers. It is also a good idea to prepare your mind and spirit before sleep, perhaps by reading the Bible, praying with thanksgiving or listening to praise music.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear Adelphelia. We thank You for the victory she has already experienced over lust, and we ask for Your continued deliverance and protection.

We rebuke any demonic influence causing these dreams and claim the blood of Jesus over Adelphelia's life. We pray for peaceful sleep, free from any lustful or impure thoughts. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her mind and heart with Your truth and Your thoughts.

Guide her as she seeks to live a life pleasing to You. Help her be a part of a church group that will guide her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Remember God's promise to you in

We've been where you are, and it's tough. But remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, and so is Jesus. He's right there, ready to help you overcome these dreams.

We know you've been trying to live a pure life, and that's what God wants for you too. Those dreams, they're not from Him. They're a distraction, a test even. But God promises in Psalm 121:4, "He who watches over you will neither slumber nor sleep." He's always awake, always watching over you.

Before you sleep, why not try writing down some Bible verses that speak to you? Maybe something from Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Let those words fill your mind as you drift off to sleep.

And let's not forget, we're here to pray with you. In Jesus' name, we ask for peaceful sleep, free from lustful dreams. We claim God's promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." We trust that He will give you the strength to overcome this.

We're in this with you, every step of the way. Keep fighting, keep trusting, and remember, God's got you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
