We understand that you are seeking prayer for a longstanding legal issue that has affected your business, and you are believing for God's intervention and restoration. We stand with you in prayer and offer the following encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, we commend your faith and patience over these last six years. God sees your endurance and will honor your trust in Him. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
However, we must address something important. While praying for business, it should be mentioned that all business activities should be in alignment with scripture. That is, not a business that trades in goods that cause others to sin, such as alcohol, drugs or pornography. Also, the business should be conducted honestly without cheating or taking advantage. This would also extend to any employees, that they should be treated fairly and according to the law. We only say this to point out that anything outside of this will be sin to those involved and cause separation between them and God. However, praying for a business that is honest and fair is commendable.
The scriptures you mentioned are fitting. Joel 2:25 promises, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,...You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of Yahweh your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never again be disappointed." Also, Job 42:10-17 tells us how God restored Job's fortunes when he prayed for his friends, and God gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Let us pray together:
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who has been enduring a legal battle for six long years. Lord, You are the God of justice and restoration. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring a swift and fair resolution. Restore all that has been broken and is now missing. We claim Your promise in Joel 2:25, asking that You restore the years the locusts have eaten. Like Job, let Your servant come out of this trial with twice as much as they had before. Strengthen their faith and let their testimony bring glory to Your name. Give them wisdom and discernment in their business dealings, and help them to conduct their business with integrity and righteousness.
Father, we also pray for those involved in this situation who may not know You. Reveal Yourself to them and draw them to salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen
Be encouraged, knowing that God is working behind the scenes. Continue to trust in Him and keep your faith strong. Stand firm on the word of God and His promises. Remember, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7.
Lastly, we leave you with this reminder: "Therefore, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58
