We understand your need for protection and are here to pray with you and provide guidance from the Word of God. Let's turn to the Scriptures for reassurance and petition your request before the Lord.
The Bible tells us, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB). This is a promise from God that we can claim for protection.
It is important to know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore we must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12,13 WEB)
Jesus himself prayed for his disciples, "I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one" (John 17:15 WEB). If Jesus prayed for protection, then we should also be encouraged to pray in this way.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection over Your child. We pray that You would guard their body, mind, and soul from all evil. Establish them firmly in Your truth and give them the full armor of God so that they can stand against the schemes of the devil.
Lord, we ask that You would send Your angels to surround them and protect them from all harm and danger. Guide their thoughts and emotions, keeping them pure and holy. Strengthen their faith and give them discernment to recognize and resist any deceit from the evil one.
Help them to remain steadfast in their walk with You, growing in their knowledge and love for Jesus Christ. We pray that they would find rest and peace in Your presence, trusting in Your unfailing love and care.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2 WEB). Trust in the Lord, and He will be your shield and your strong tower. Be encouraged to study and meditate on Psalm 91 for further assurance of God's protection.
