We appreciate your heartfelt prayer, Churlgal, and we join with you in seeking God's will for your relationship. We are reminded of the importance of forgiveness and understanding in any relationship, as it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Firstly, we commend you for bringing your request in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It's crucial to remember that God's desire is for us to be in relationships that glorify Him, and that starts with each partner being in a right relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ.
However, we must address that your prayer focuses on regaining feelings and listening more to your man. While these are not bad things, we want to remind you that the most important aspect of any relationship is that it aligns with biblical principles. This includes ensuring that your relationship is within the bounds of godly courtship leading towards marriage, as God intends (Hebrews 13:4).
We also want to remind you of the importance of not just listening to each other's feelings but also challenging each other to grow in godliness. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." A godly relationship should spur both of you towards a deeper relationship with Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Churlgal and her relationship. We ask for Your forgiveness where they may have fallen short, and we pray that You would help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us through Christ. Lord, guide them in their relationship, help them to listen to each other, and most importantly, to listen to Your voice. Protect them from temptation and help them to grow together in godliness. Restore the love and feelings that may have been lost, but more importantly, Lord, help them to love each other as You have loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Churlgal, to continue to seek God's will for your relationship. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
