We are truly sorry to hear about the health struggles of your father-in-law. Let us stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort during this challenging time.
Let us remember the words of James 5:15, The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother who is battling lung disease and is currently on a ventilator in the ICU. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, that You would restore his lungs and give him the strength to overcome this illness.
Father, we also pray for his family, especially for the couple who are far from him during this time. Lord, grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and comfort their hearts as they trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Help them to lean into your message Philippians 4:6-7, Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we declare that our brother will rise from this illness, and he will be restored to health, in the name of Jesus. The power of resurrection and life is in Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We ask for our brother to give his testimony in church and give it all to Jesus Christ for the miracle of healing. Father, we ask for Your will to be done in his life and in the lives of his family members. Father we ask for total healing to come from this disease. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Let us continue to trust in God's promises and believe that He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20. Remember this is only by the name of Jesus Christ we can be saved and we can have access to God the Father. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
Please keep us updated on his progress, and let us continue to pray together for God's healing and restoration.
