We join you in your fervent desire for your husband's salvation and for your family to be united under Christ. It is a beautiful thing to see your heart's cry for your husband's spiritual well-being. Let us come together in prayer and encouragement, standing on the promises of God's Word.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and your desire to see your husband come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us that God desires for everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4, WEB). Your husband's salvation is not just your desire, but God's as well.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved sister's husband to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know his heart and You desire for him to be saved. We ask that You remove the scales from his eyes and soften his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Give him the courage to humble himself and accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Father, we also pray for their family, that they may be united under Christ. We ask that You give this family a deliverance from the world's way of life and break any resistance or opposition to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We ask that you give courage to be honest and open to the family. We pray that every member of their family will have an encounter with the living God and be transformed by the renewing of their minds, Amen (Romans 12:2).
We encourage you to continue to be a light in your home, reflecting the love of Christ to your husband and children. Remember, God's Word does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes that which He pleases (Isaiah 55:11, WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.
Stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We are here with you in spirit, agreeing with you in prayer, and believing that God will answer your heart's cry.
It is our responsibility to pray for each other. James 5:16 states the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
