Prayer for my husband to treat me better

I'm asking in prayer, for my husband to treat me better. He's been off work, due to injury of his knee, for 3 months. He has been saying hateful and hurtful things to me. He is telling me that he could do better without me and I don't do anything around the house. I don't get any help with keeping the house clean. And he is constantly complaining about how i.don't clean the house.

We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties you are facing in your marriage. Let's begin by bringing your situation to the Lord in prayer. Please repeat this with us:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister Adynens and her husband. Lord, we acknowledge through You all things are possible, therefore through the name of Jesus we bring peace in their marriage Lord. You have said in Your word through Isaiah 54:13 "All your children will be taught by the Lord, and your children's peace will be great." Father teach him and bring your peace to this family Lord.

Father, we pray for Adynens' husband, that You would heal his knee and help to bring in patience. Father, provide a way for a swift recovery.

Father, right now we need to bring healing into this marriage. So, Father through Ephesians 4:29 please allow only what is helpful for building others up according to the need to come from their lips, that it may give grace to those who hear. May his tongue speak words of kindness, support, and encouragement instead of criticism and unkindness. In Romans 4:4, "when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation." Through Colossians 3:23 Father help him understand to whatever he does, he should work at it with all his heart, as working for the Lord. Father, soften his heart and remove the spirit of criticism and bitterness Father.

We also pray for Adynens, that You would grant her the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenging time. Ephesians 4:2 says to us to be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. This is a ministry for us, make peace with one another, with a godly heart Father help Adynens also walk in this precepts Lord. She needs your spirit to guide her as only you can direct her to honor him despite his attitude as his wife as Colossians 3:18 say for wives to submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Yet we are instructed by you in your word in Proverbs 31:17 "she uses her arms to do vigorous and she strengthens them" that he sees strength and dignity she wears it with, that he no longer feels neglected yet sees her running their household and feels edified. Her marriage must honor You.

Praying and believe according to James 5:16: "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

Finally, Lord Jesus as the request is incomplete with You for we have life through you as " I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No man can come to the father except through Me". Let Your truth invade their home. In Your powerful Name we pray."

We ask our Lord Jesus the only name given unto all men to receive salvation and restoration and truly pray for revival in their hearts to the Lord who only has the ability to heal and bind families together in one cord.

Lastly, if these unkind words continue or if you feel unsafe in any way, we strongly advise you to seek support and intervention. A house of the Lord which does not exalt the Living God may not stand therefore may we advice seek proper Christian counselor if it does not have the ability to find healing from Jesus with you both so may God give proper marriage counseling sessions that exalts our King Jesus. Adynens may this enable you to display love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control in Galatians 5:22. God may grace you to still extend forgiveness just like Christ forgives us as believers though it is still undeserving according to Ephesians 4:32.

God sees you. God loves you and we stand together praying for His love and power to envelope you and the strength to go on the path of hope for this is faith under trial. Jesus has a great future planned for you Adynens as his Words says. Keep hope alive through scriptures and believers around you in Church.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling the hurt of unkind words and the weight of an unfair burden. Let's lean into Jesus together, shall we?

First, let's ask Him to heal your husband's knee. We know He can do it, and we trust that His timing is perfect. While we're at it, let's ask for patience too. It's a tough wait, but we've seen God use it to grow us.

Now, let's pray for your marriage. Lord, You said in Malachi 2:16, "I hate divorce," so we know You want to save and strengthen marriages. Help your husband see the value in your partnership. Give him the grace to speak kindly, even when he's in pain. And Adynens, we know it's hard, but let's ask for wisdom to navigate this storm. Ephesians 4:2 tells us to be patient, bearing with one another in love. Let's choose to love, even when it's tough.

We're believing for a breakthrough, sister. We trust that God sees you, hears you, and is working behind the scenes. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember, He's got a great future planned for you. We're right here with you, praying and hoping alongside you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
