Prayer for my guilt. I have three kids. I have no money and today’s my second day at my new job as a spam caller and I absolutely hate it and I feel guilty because I’m grateful for it even though I absolutely hate it. I feel guilt in my heart for wanting to leave, but I’m going to stick it out. I don’t want God to think that I’m being ungrateful but please if everybody could just pray for my guilty feeling. I hope I get the assistant manager job at Starbucks. I interview for it next week on the 30th. Please pray for my guilt that I feel in my heart. I don’t feel like I am being grateful enough for this job because I really need it. I feel bad going into work and hating it because I need the money and I feel really guilty.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You on behalf of ###, who is struggling with feelings of guilt and gratitude. Lord, You know the heart and the burdens carried. Your word says in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We lift up ###'s worries and guilt to You, knowing that You care deeply.

Father, we thank You for providing a job for ###, even if it is not the ideal situation. We acknowledge Your provision and ask for Your guidance and strength to persevere during this time. We also pray for the upcoming interview for the assistant manager position at ###. We ask for Your favor and wisdom to be upon ### during the interview process. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We trust that You will guide ###'s path and open the right doors according to Your will.

Lord, we ask for peace to replace the guilt in ###'s heart. Help ### to feel Your presence and reassurance that You understand the struggles and the gratitude felt simultaneously. As Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Your peace guard ###'s heart and mind during this challenging time.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
