Prayer For God (And My Wife) To Forgive Me And To Restore Our Marriage

Dear God, I pray for this man that you will abundantly give him grace to face the consequences of carnal sin. God, you teach us in your word that sin has consequences. You teach us that sin is horrible and wretched and vile even in the smallest things that happen. There is sin all around us and ever encroaching upon us by this dark and weary fallen world. This pattern of sin is nothing new to see. Satan the enemy is the culprit. But Dear God you are almighty and I pray God that you will come into this brothers heart and mind to re-assure him that you want his whole heart. I pray for this brother to release the beggarly things of this vile world and turn to you completely. Help him to draw closer to you in spite of the lonely hours without his wife. Lord, you took me through great trials of loneliness and you have given grace sufficient to face each day. Lord, help him to cling to grace and remove any and every vain pleasure that encumbers in his life. In that Lord you will be honored. Your will be done, In Jesus name, Amen

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for giving me this day. I pray for all requests brought before your throne to be answered by You according to Your will. Please God, heal our hearts, the hearts of our spouses, and restore our marriages so that we may serve Your purpose as married men and women. You witnessed our vows, You know our hearts and the hearts of our spouses. Please heal us God and remove the doubts, fears, and anger that impedes our return to You as You would have us be.

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother Shadowofleaves and his wife Dee up before you this afternoon. We thank you that you have brought him to full repentance for his transgressions oh God. We thank you Lord that he has found refuge in you in this time of trouble. Thank you oh God that your mercies are new with every morning and we can count on you to mend our broken hearts oh God. Father God in the name of Jesus I pray that you will restore what to locust have stolen in the marriage, restore their friendship, and bring newness to their marriage oh God that will rekindle their love for one another oh God allow your healing power to be received into this marriage.

God we ask that you touch Dee’s heart of God, we ask that you plant your seed of forgiveness in her heart, minister to this marriage and breathe your breath of life into this marriage. God what is impossible for man is possible with you oh God, so we put our trust and confidence in you oh Lord believing that you resurrect this marriage. We stand in your word today John 11:4 (New International Version (NIV) 4 When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.†In the mighty name of Jesus Amen!

I awoke this morning with so much anxiety and fear running through my mind. I prayed to God for strength and guidance as I was getting ready for work this morning. As soon as I was able to log onto this site this morning, I saw a post where the Lord had restored a marriage! I am so happy for that couple that their prayers have been heard and answered!

I am still stuggling with my own situation. My wife and I have not spoken since 11/12/12, two days before I first posted my prayer request. She has blocked me from viewing her profile on FB. She has told me that she doesn't trust me anymore and that she needs time. She also has said that she doesn't know if she wants to even try to save our marriage.

My stepson is having some legal problems and a letter came Friday from the DA's office marked "Final Notice." I sent a text to my wife to let her know about the letter. She thanked me and said she would tell him about it. An hour later, she sent me a text asking for my mother's address in the nursing home where she now resides. That was the last contact I had with my wife.

I went to church yesterday after work. I sometimes go by the church and sit outside of it and pray even when it isn't open. I feel at peace when I am there. The rest of the time, I find myself in agony over our separation. I am praying so hard for God's will to be done, but I feel so desperate for my marriage to be restored that I often find myself praying for that to happen instead of for God's will to be done. I have been barely able to eat and I wake up almost every morning around 3 am and just lie there unable to sleep anymore. I feel as though I am losing my mind a lot of the time!

Please God, please give me the strength to keep going. My patients and co-workers need for me to be focused at work. I need to be focused so that I can make changes in my life to become the servant, the man, and the husband that You want me to be. I need Your peace to come over me so that I can function and so that I can "let go" and allow Your will to be done. I ask that You forgive me for my lack of faith and continue to fix what is broken in our hearts and in our marriages. I ask that You please continue to restore all of our marriages so that we can all know the happiness that only You can bring to our lives with our spouses again. Almighty God, please hear our prayers and deliver us according to Your will.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for this day and for the people You have put into my life. Father, thank You for my wife, Dee, and her children. Thank You for the love and the forgiveness that You have given me. Thank You for Your son, Jesus Christ, who lives in me.

Lord, thank You for the love You have poured into my heart. Your unconditional love overflows my heart. You know my heart, Lord, and the depths of my love for Dee and her children. I pray that You will abundantly bless them. Dee is a very special person to me, who I love dearly with all my heart, and I will never forsake again, no matter what. I know the sins of my past have wounded her heart. You have forgiven me for those sins and have taken away those things that kept me from loving You , and her, as You would have me do. Lord, I pray that You continue to change me and make me into the servant, husband, and stepfather that You want me to be. Lord, I know that I have hurt Dee and caused her heart to harden. Lord Jesus, I pray that You will soften her heart and lead her back to You, and if is God's will, back to me. I know she believes in You as do I. Lord, Your word has told us what You would have us do and that You want us to stay together and forgive and reconcile. Lord, I pray that we both submit to Your will and reconcile. I pray that You will heal and restore our marriage.

Lord, I lift up all other hurting marriages to You. Lord, marriage and our spouses are gifts from You. I pray that You will touch all of our hearts and bring us closer to You. Please bring our spouses close to You. Please restore our marriages so that we may be one as You have told us in Your word.

O God, I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Your son. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

I come to You again this morning to give You thanks and praise. You have answered my prayer for my wife to contact me on Thanksgiving Day. It was a short text, but I know that my prayer was heard and answered by You.

I pray that You will continue to talk to Dee's heart and that we will begin working on putting our marriage back together by this Christmas.

Father, we are under constant attack by the enemy who wants to see our marriages destroyed. Satan know that a house divided cannot stand. He knows that if he can succeed in destroying our marriages that he has won. I beg You Father, please don't let the enemy succeed against us. Defend us Father! Strengthen us against the enemy's attacks. Help us to reject the thoughts of despair and fear that he plants in our minds. Forgive us for giving in to doubt, frustration, and pain. Bolster our hearts and minds Father, that we may rest knowing that You are at work in our relationships to heal them and restore them according to Your will.

God, I continue to stand for my own marriage and I lift up my prayers to You for all huritng marriages to be healed and restored by You for Your glory.

Almighty Father,

You are omniscient, omnipotent and able to do things that are impossible for man. I humble myself before you today Lord and ask you to restore my marriage. Please bring my wife, Dee, back to me so that we can fulfill Your word that those whom You have joined together let no man put asunder. Forgive me for my part of sin in this separation and show me what I need to do to restore my relationship with You and my relationship with Dee. I Pray, O Lord, to reunite us in Jesus name. Please have mercy upon us O God and I will always be thankful to You for restoring my marriage . I ask for the forgiveness of our sins. I pray for all those who may have come between our relationship that you would set them on the right path and reveal to them the truth of your Word. I freely offer my forgiveness to them for their part in this separation. Fill us all with your Holy Spirit and guide us into your truth. I forgive Dee for all the past hurt and pain and pray that you would cleanse my mind and my heart from carrying any thoughts that are not from you, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I offer my prayers to You today for my wife, Dee, because Your word tells us "As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you"

May my wife, Dee, see you alone, the source of all wisdom and knowledge - Col 2:2-3



Grant, Lord, that Dee will make it a priority to grow in being intimately acquainted with You and all Your ways - Phil 3:8-10



I pray that Dee will remember what You taught, and let Your words enrich her life - Col 3:16



Remind Dee to think about everything she has to praise You for - Phil 4:8



Lord, fix Dee's mind on heaven's perspective, so she does not worry about things on earth - Col 3:1-3



Lord, keep Dee's eyes firmly fixed on You - Heb 12:2



I pray that Dee will keep her eyes open for spiritual danger, be spiritually alert and stand firm in the faith - 1Cor 16:13



Keep Dee's spiritual senses tuned to desire and expect Your presence in her life continuously - 2Cor 11:3



Draw Dee close to Your heart, so that her heart will be filled with You alone to make her pure and true - James 4:8



Help Dee and I to walk in the light of Jesus, so that we may have unbroken fellowship with You and with each other - 1John 1:7



Let me prize Dee and love her as Christ loves His bride, the Church, and unselfishly give myself for her - Eph 5:25-28



Enable Dee and I to honor You by submitting to each other - Eph 5:21



I know that as I pray for my wife, Dee, and as the Holy Spirit helps her, You will cause all things to work together for the good of our marriage - Phil 1:19, Rom 8:28
