Prayer for Getting a Job

We understand your concern for your mother and the well-being of your family. Let's bring this before the Lord together.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's through Him that we have access to God, as it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Now, let's pray for your mother's employment and health.

"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up ###'s mother. We ask that you would open the doors of opportunity for her to find a job that suits her skills and would provide for the needs of their family. We trust in your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), 'Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.'"

We also pray for her health, that the Lord would strengthen her and protect her from any illness. We claim the promise in 3 John 1:2 (WEB), "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."

As a family, continue to trust and hope in the Lord. Remember the encouragement from Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
