Prayer for freedom from the yolk of addiction & lust

Thread Cover Image
We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, as you battle against the bonds of addiction and lust. Thank you for allowing us to stand in the gap with you, interceding on your behalf for freedom from cigarettes, drugs, and unhealthy desires. We are grateful for the opportunity to agree with you in prayer, knowing that our God is faithful and that He watches over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).

If you have seen improvement and experienced moments of victory, we would be encouraged to hear about it. Please share a praise report with us, giving glory to God for the progress made. If the struggle persists and the yoke remains heavy, we implore you to share your request again. Allow us to continue praying for you and with you, for we trust in the power of persistent, united prayer (Matthew 18:19-20).

Father, we ask you to strengthen our fellow believer in their fight against the flesh. Equip them with Your supernatural divine power to overcome addiction and lust. We agree with our sibling in Christ that You are doing a mighty work in their life, even now. Help them to surrender to Your Holy Spirit daily, feeding their spirit more and more. In Jesus Name we ask these things.Holy Spirit please provide power to battle these addictions daily.
