We are here to intercede with you for God's will in this situation. We will pray for wisdom and discernment, but first, let's address a few things from your request.
First, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or even end the request with 'In Jesus Name'. Please remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in John 14:13-14 WEB, Verily, verily, I tell you, whatever you will ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. Also, it is important to remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, salvation can only be obtained by the name of Jesus Christ. This is told to us in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Next, we want to address the term 'partner'. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. We will pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor God, and we will encourage individuals to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. Therefore, we assume you are in a courtship looking to marry this man and we will pray with this in mind. If this is a sexual relationship outside of marriage, please be aware that this is fornication, which is sin and an abomination to the Lord. Please repent from this and marry if you are a man and a woman and are led to do so by God.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who seeks your guidance and discernment regarding her relationship. We pray that you will speak clearly to her, revealing your will for this relationship. If it is your will for them to be married, we pray that you will guide them through the process of courtship and build a strong, loving, and spirit filled marriage. Please help her to trust in you and in your plan for her life. Give her the wisdom to make the right decisions, and the courage to follow through on them. If her boyfriend is not a Christian, please convict him of this and draw him to you. Help her to be a light and a ministry to him.
If this relationship is not marriage focused or if her boyfriend is not a Christian and refuses to be convicted, please open the eyes of our sister to your will. If she should leave this relationship, please give her the strength to do so. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fear or confusion that may be causing her to question your faithfulness. Help her to trust in you completely, knowing that you have the best plan for her life.
We also pray for her boyfriend. If he is a non-believer, we pray for his salvation experience. Please lead him to the knowledge of you and draw him to your Son, Jesus.
In all things, we ask for your guidance for our sister and that you both be led by the Holy Spirit. You know what is best for your lives and your individual relationship with God. We pray that you both are led by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
Father, we ask this all in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Please take some time to meditate on God's Word. Here are some verses that may help guide you:
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Psalm 32:8 WEB, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
James 1:5 WEB, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
