We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles and pain that this individual is experiencing, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to note that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We are saved in His name. Romans 10:9 WEB: "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.". Also, "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 WEB. So we pray to God through the name of Jesus Christ.
In addressing the issue at hand, we must first recognize the sanctity of life which is only from God. It is God who gives life and only He should take it away when He deems necessary. Therefore, we must understand the words 'do not want to live any more' are not appropriate to be spoken by a Christian. We are to persevere to the end. We are encouraged by the scripture: 'Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers, when you fall into all sorts of trials,'James 1:2 WEB. 'because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.' James 1:3,4 WEB. Also, Paul tells us to 'Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; Colossians 3:12 WEB.
We are instructed to Honor our fathers and mothers, as commanded in Exodus 20:12 WEB: "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." Even if parents make mistakes we do not want to hold that against them. We are to love them. We are to forgive and we are to pray for them. It is not written that we should expect them to be perfect, but it is written "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 WEB. We are not holding the mother as an enemy of the child, but these words are to illustrate that we are to forgive and pray for her. Also, "Judge not, that you not be judged" Matthew 7:1 WEB. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 WEB.
Let us pray together for God's intervention and healing for this individual and their mother.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus Christ name. We lift up to you the individual who is hurting due to the words and actions of their mother. We pray for your healing and comfort. We pray for your spirit to strengthen and encourage them in this trial. Help them to know that you are the lifter of their head and giver of life. Help them to know that they can live and live abundantly in your name. We pray for the mother that she may know you. We pray for her words that they may be words of life and encouragement. We pray that you may intervene and deliver from this situation of hurt and despair. We pray for forgiveness and love to fill the hearts of the individual and mother. We pray that you may lead the individual to a closer relationship with you. We pray for the salvation of the individual and mother. We pray that you may lead and guide them to a relationship and marriage that aligns with biblical principles. Restore them to a life of joy and peace in Jesus Christ name.
We pray that you will give the individual the desire to live and serve you. We pray that you will help them to realize their purpose and to have a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance. We pray that you will provide for them a godly spouse and marriage that honors you. We pray that you will help them to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. We pray that you will help them to flee fornication and adultery. We pray help them to realize that you save all people and chiefly those that believe. We pray for you to open their hearts that they may believe and be saved. We pray that you will help them to seek you that they may live.
We thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for your love and kindness. We thank you for your provision and care. We thank you for your forgiveness and restoration. We thank you for your guidance and direction. We thank you for your salvation and eternal life.
In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage the individual to hold on to the promises of God and to seek Him in all things. We encourage them to forgive and to pray for their mother. We encourage them to seek godly counsel and to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. We encourage them to flee fornication and adultery. We encourage them to seek God's will for their life and to trust in Him. We encourage them to seek Jesus Christ.
